What they are Saying:
“The Violets” was a joy to direct. The characters in this show are developed well and the relationships between them and their circumstances are intense. John Haman trusts his audience and does not spoon-feed them in a redundant way.
Once it was approved, I knew I was going to bring a fresh perspective to my private Christian university. The show challenged students in the best way, and they were happy to be a part some something bigger. It was well received by a large audience and my cast was very proud to be a part of it.
One thing I liked about it as the director is that the set and costumes and props can be as extensive or minimal as you choose. If you are looking to put on an impactful show on a budget, this is the show for you."
